Heat-Stress Kit
Mid · $18–24 · Heat-stress (summer) & cold (winter) kits
Heat season on job sites runs from June into September, and the Heat-Stress Kit backs up a water, rest and shade message with gear crews use outdoors. A 33 oz vacuum insulated bottle keeps a refill close, electrolyte stick packs go into it at break time, and a cooling towel in its case joins a neck gaiter for the hottest hours. SPF 30 sunscreen and a wide-brim bucket hat suit long shifts on open decks and roofs, and a handheld mini fan is useful in trailers and cabs. Distribute the kits at a heat-awareness toolbox talk at the start of summer and restock the electrolyte packs through the season. The kit supports, rather than replaces, your heat-illness prevention plan.
