Preparedness Kit

Premium · $40–50 · National Preparedness Month emergency kit

The Preparedness Kit is built for National Preparedness Month in September, when employers, utilities, insurers and emergency-management offices encourage households to assemble a go-bag. An Oxford first-aid organizer bag is the base, with room for the family's own medications and supplies. A tactical LED zoom flashlight and a 7-in-1 survival whistle tool sit alongside an emergency mylar blanket, and a solar power bank with LED lamp keeps a phone going during an outage. A 33 oz vacuum insulated bottle holds drinking water, and a waterproof zipper document bag stores copies of IDs, insurance cards and prescriptions. Include a printed checklist of what to add at home, and hand the kits out at a preparedness fair or ship them to remote staff.

First-aid bag, emergency blanket, whistle tool, solar power bank, water bottle, flashlight and a document pouch.
